I'm Sandra Gatica Morales — a UX Researcher and Product Designer with over 12 years of experience building digital products in fintech, healthcare, and enterprise. I'm based in Barcelona and work with clients across Latin America, Australia, and the US.
My specialty is finding the right problem before designing the solution. I combine user research, data analysis, and information architecture to understand what users actually need — not what we assume they need. I've led initiatives at Santander, Uber, MetLife, and currently contribute through Toptal.
I'm also an active mentor on ADPList, helping emerging UX designers navigate product thinking, systems design, and AI-driven experiences. I studied Graphic Design at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and have completed courses at IDEO, SVA New York, and Service Design Doing.
